Operations at the new Airport are planned to commence July 2019.

The Airport Modernization Program (AMP) is more than just an expansion of the airport.

The system will also allow operators to monitor airport performances.

With 14 million passengers a year expected by 2020, Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has chosen Thales and SITA to provide the security and operations management system for Bahrain International Airport.
